Article 58
of the Criminal Code the Russian Soviet Feder al Socialist Republic came into force on 25 th February 1927. On the basis of all suspects arrested by counter-revolutionary activ ities. Article consisted of 14 paragraphs. The article was amende d several times - in particular, this applies to the first paragraph, which is 8 June 1934, supplemented by a list of points of understanding specifying the section. Article also officially introduced the concept of enemy of the people - it became everyone whose deeds podpadały under paragraphs 2-13.
